These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Class Connect, including our website, waitlist form, mobile and web app experiences, and related features and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must meet the minimum age required by your local law to use social and communication services, or have required parent/guardian permission.
- You agree to provide accurate registration and profile information, including school affiliation where requested.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity under your account.
- We may require school-email or related verification for access to some features.
2. Service Description and Availability
Class Connect provides student-focused social and school-community features, which may include media feed posting, direct/group messaging, school hub information, classmate discovery, scheduling tools, and event/community interactions. Features may change over time and may vary by region, school, platform, or release stage.
The Services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, network issues, or other factors. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure operation.
3. Waitlist and Launch Communications
By joining the waitlist, you consent to receiving product-related updates, launch communications, and service notices. Waitlist enrollment does not guarantee launch date, access priority, or feature availability.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
- Harass, threaten, bully, impersonate, or exploit other users.
- Upload unlawful, defamatory, hateful, explicit, violent, or otherwise prohibited content.
- Attempt to bypass safety systems, account restrictions, or access controls.
- Use bots, scraping, reverse engineering, or unauthorized automation against the Services.
- Interfere with platform integrity, security, or operation.
- Violate any applicable school, district, institutional, or legal requirements.
5. User Content and License
You retain ownership of content you post (such as messages, posts, profile details, and media), subject to the rights you grant to us to operate the Services.
By posting or submitting content, you grant Class Connect a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display that content as needed to provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including moderation, safety, and support functions.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to post your content and that your content does not violate law or third-party rights.
6. Moderation and Enforcement
We may review, moderate, remove, restrict, or disable access to content or accounts that violate these Terms, safety policies, legal obligations, or community standards. We may also cooperate with schools or legal authorities when required.
7. Intellectual Property
The Services, including branding, design, software, content organization, and non-user materials, are owned by or licensed to Class Connect and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our Services or materials.
8. Paid Features and Promotions
Some services are currently presented as free to use. If paid or subscription features are introduced, additional terms, billing details, and cancellation information will be provided at that time.
